to support lone parent/carer families in our community and their children. We meet weekly in the local community centre. We support the parents and children through counselling, education, self confidence building, positive parenting, provide them with a weekly support group to socialise and learn new skills, to enable them to get back into work or training and to enable them to parent their children positively. This in turn supports the community which has a large number of lone parents residing in thesurrounding area, and enables them to have a better quality of life as a family unit. We also are pleased to have meetings in the local community centre, as by using it we are helping to keep it open. We also support the children through education play and teach them positive skills, as well as how to be towards others, the environment, and how to be a good person.
