Peg Powler Gallery

The Peg Powler Gallery at Green Dragon Studios is a new alternative art space for the north east. Located in the gallery room of Green Dragon Studios in Stockton-on-Tees and taking place every Tuesday 6pm-9pm, Peg Powler Gallery exists to support and encourage local artists and and showcase art from the area in a relaxed and friendly environment. We also aim to hold a range of events from music to performance art.

Since our opening in February 2010, we have curated four well received exhibitions and have organised special one-off events such as a craft night for adults.

Entry to Peg Powler Gallery is free and for everyone. Visitors are welcome to have a cup of tea, browse our art-library, have fun and check out some of the area's most exciting new art.

Peg Polwer Gallery is directed by AJ Garrett and Rebecca Little and is an unfunded, D.I.Y. project.

I voted for this category because I live in the north east and I think it's important to support any causes within this area.
The gallery is free and gives visitors an insight into the arts and crafts available.
