Bankruptcy can happen to anyone. We want to not only change peoples perceptions of bankrupts in
general, we also want to make sure there is more help and practical advice available.
In 2009 1 person was declared bankrupt every 5 minutes and once in this situation it takes an average of 6 years for a person to get back on their feet. We want to try and help people back on their feet within 6 months. Once a person is back on their feet they are contributing to the community, their family and society in general. Instead of being a drain on the community purse strings they add and contribute to it.
We have a small drop in centre in Weymouth in Dorset, we opened on the 1st March 2010 and have not done a shred of advertising and we have been non stop busy ever since.
We desperately need funding to keep the centre open and to be able to pay for the counselling and professional services we arrange for our clients.
Our clients include school workers, Council employees, Emergency service personell, Students, Pensioners, Teachers, Various religious beliefs, Managers, Labourers, your mum, your dad and in some cases your children.

Bankruptcy, Insolvancy and Personal Financial Hardship affects someone in every street in the country. If everyone in your community is 'on their feet' then you have an affluent community, a more productive society and a better economy. Please do your best :-)

This is a much needed project providing a gap in support services for people in financial hardship and helping them to navigate their way out of difficulty.
In 2010 people should not have to be worrying about financial problems, the UK is not a 3rd world country. Companies like this help those who for reasons out of there control has fallen upon hard times. Well done, a great cause.

We struggled with bankruptcy a few years ago, and I only wish there had been wonderful people like those at HS4B when we needed it. Onwards and upwards.

I just don't know how I would have got through the last couple of months without the strong team who surrounded and supported me with financial advice and help , mental and physical wellbeing and continue to do so.
You have a fantastic team of people on board with you and you deserve to win.

Ian has a cause that should be backed by everyone. Any person who has ever gone through financial hardship should understand what he is trying to accomplish here. Lets' all do the right thing and support this great cause because it happens everywhere. God Bless you for taking a stand.

Just back from a few days away, now it's onwards and upwards at full pelt to win win win ;-)
I phoned them one day in the pouring rain, Ian came out to meet me, spent time with me and did everything he could to help me. He didn't ask for a thing in return, just took me at face value and did his best. I will never forget that kindness, thank you Ian and the rest of the HS4B team. Without you I really don't know what I would have done.
